Week 3 Technology in Music Education
Today's seminar began with an exploration a Flat.io and NoteFlight, to compare the two platforms in relation to features which are be useful in the music classroom. The general consensus amongst the class is that Flat.io is a more intuitive music notation software and has the added bonus of being able to export to Soundtrap which allows students to make changes to their arrangements/compositions from Soundtrap.
Sibelius...So many hidden features!
A brilliant aspect of Sibelius is that it features 'worksheet creators' which allow music educators to access well arranged pieces in a variety of different genres and styles.
